Artist Statement
For me, the creative process is a way to build connection, with myself and others and even more so after 2020. The use of palette knives allow for a lively discussion and layers of colorful connections. Most of my work falls into the landscape composition, which I think lends a safe place of the familiar.
This piece was painted during one of my first "Zoom" meetings and is called "Meeting Apart". The piece is a 10 x 10 framed acrylic.
