Artist Statement
I am lucky enough to be surrounded by the light of nature's beauty. My brushwork on reclaimed wood attempts to depict my deep respect for the earth and my hopes for a brighter future.
About the Artist
Throughout Covid quarantine, I felt the need for more light in my life and tried to concentrate on paying attention to all of the light around me. Sunrises, sunsets, and light peeking through trees all gave me hope and I painted them whenever I had the chance.
