Richard M. Goff, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech and photographer living in Blacksburg, Virginia. Richard's interest in photography started when he was 12 developing Cyanotypes of leaves in his bathtub. His photography is primarily of people, nature, animals, and objects in his immediate environment. Whether at home or traveling. The photographs presented here, the Chad er a Belau (People of Palau) were taken using a Nikon F and printed over 50 years ago while he was in the Peace Corps in Palau, Micronesia 1967-1969. These are the only prints made, so each image is one of a kind.
Richard M Goff is a husband and father, former aircraft engineer for the Navy, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, actor, motorcycle racer, computer entrepreneur, and longtime engineering educator. He was the photographer for theater productions at Virginia Tech for several years while he was in graduate school studying Aerospace Engineering. His photography has won a few awards and has been published in magazines. Lately, he has been videoing wildlife in his backyard and the beaver on Brown Farm.
