I am Blacksburg artist who enjoys painting the adventures and joys of life. I also love teaching art to kids and adults, as well as do commission work.

I found old photos of my dad before I was born and enjoyed seeing his adventures in Europe in the 1950s. This is one of those photos that tells a story of his young adult journeys!

Another inspiration to paint my dad in the Alps with his VW Bug in the 50s. I used coffee to stain the paper to make it look old, then watercolor and a little acrylic for snow!
