I am a scientist by day, but inherited a love for craft by nature and nurture of my mother. This piece depicts my immediately family as we looked in 2008. We have grown in number since then, and my son will soon begin his second year of college. This memory is fondness of where we have been, thankfulness for how we have grown together, and vantage point for the futures we are building.
