For me painting is just pure joy. My works are mostly landscapes and all things associated with nature. I paint mostly from photographs I take, at home and when traveling, and its all about color. I don't steer away from it. No fancy explaining what my paintings are all about. Its perfectly clear.

This was painted from a photograph I had taken in the park in 2010. What we were seeing is some of the very last remaining glaciers. The park is warming at nearly two times the global average, and the impacts are being felt year after year. Between 1966 and 2015 every named glacier in the park got smaller, some by more than 80%. I am grateful we were able to experience some of the last days of visible glaciers. A wonderful trip, and incredible memories.
